A Troubleshooting guide on reasons for poor location accuracy and how to improve it
The GetHomeSafe app needs to be running for GPS Location Tracking to function correctly. It is OK to minimise the GetHomeSafe app while using other mobile device functions, but do not close the app. GPS Location tracking will not be able to function if closed.
Check whether certain settings have restricted the GetHomeSafe app’s ability to access location services on mobile devices. On iOS and Android there are two options, one to allow access only when you are using the app, and the other to always allow access (wording differs). The ‘Always Allow’ setting must be enabled to ensure that locations are recorded while mobile devices are locked.
