Why won't my password work?
This article covers common reasons why your GetHomeSafe password might not be working.
Why can't I log in to GetHomeSafe? Common causes and fixes:
-
Your password may have been entered incorrectly — try entering it again carefully.
-
When creating a password it must contain at least a lowercase character, an uppercase character, a number, a special character and be at least 10 characters long.
- Make sure the password you are inputting follows these rules, if it doesn't, it is likely you are using the wrong password and a reset is needed.
-
You can only log in to GetHomeSafe using the sign-up method you originally registered with — either a GetHomeSafe password, Google, Apple, or Microsoft. Using a different sign-in method will not work.
-
Your password is the same for your GetHomeSafe App and Web Portal. If you change your password for one it will update for both platforms.
-
Make sure you are logging in to the GetHomeSafe app, not the GetHomeSafe Personal app. If you have both apps installed, note that they may have different passwords.
