A guide on how to invite, manage and delete users from your GetHomeSafe organisation.
The 'Users' page includes all users registered to the organisation. It is only available to admins. It allows them to:
- Invite new users.
- Resend and revoke invitations.
- View and manage existing users.
- Reset two-factor authentications and/or passwords.
- Delete users.
Selecting a user allows admins to configure user details, including:
- Edit profile information on their behalf.
- Assign and unassign teams.
- Assign and unassign admin rights.
- Manage notification settings.
- View account details.
- View their activity logs.
Inviting New Users
Admins can invite new users to the organisation from the ‘Users’ page. When individually inviting a user, admins can provide additional information. If this is not done during the invitation process, the user will be required to enter this information themselves.
Inviting Users Individually
- Log into the web portal.
- Open the ‘Users’ page.
- Select ‘New.’
- Choose 'Invite User.'
- Add an email address.
- Choose the invitation method, email or SMS (a phone number is required for SMS).
- Choose what team(s) the user will be added to.
- Enable the ‘Administrator’ switch to enable admin rights (optional).
- Add additional information (optional).
- Send the invite.
Bulk Upload
All columns must be populated when uploading the file.
- Log into the web portal.
- Open the ‘Users’ page.
- Select ‘New.’
- Choose 'Bulk Upload.'
- Download the file template.
- Populate the template according to upload instructions.
- Save the file.
- Select ‘Browse.’
- Upload the saved file.
- Select ‘Continue.’
- Assign teams (if it hasn’t already been done automatically).
- Select ‘Invite.’
Managing Users
Users can be managed individually and by bulk. To manage a user individually select the three dots beside the user. To manage multiple users click the white square beside each user or for all users select the white square beside name.
The following actions are available:
- Download activities (available individually only, to download all user activities this can be found in the 'Reports' section of the web portal)
- Reset two-factor
- Send reset password
- Resend welcome email
- Delete user
