Activities can be created from the web portal via the ‘New Activity’ page. The fields and features available depend on activity type settings and organisational features.
Creating an Activity
Section 1: User & Timer
- User: Search for the user who the activity is being created for.
- Regular users can create activities for themselves.
- Team leaders can create activities for themselves and their team members.
- Admins can create activities for anyone in the organisation.
- Activity Type: Choose an activity type.
- Timer: Set the duration and timer type for the activity.
- Countdown: Timer can be extended, not reset.
- Recurring: Timer resets on manual check-in, cannot be extended.
- Time of Day: Countdown timer generated from the activity start to the specified time of day.
- Reminder: Set the reminder time.
- Sites: If Sites is enabled, a Sites section becomes available. This allows users to add a Site they intend to visit during the activity. Users must search for and add the site manually.

- Starting Locations: Starting locations set the starting point for the activity. A starting location is needed to start an activity
- Waypoints: Waypoints indicate locations the user will be travelling to during their journey. Optional information including their mode of transport, time spent at the waypoint, and notes can be added.
- Destination: Final destination.
Section 3: Additional Information:

- Note: Write an optional note.
- Reference: Enter an optional reference.
- Supporting Document: Upload files to the activity. These can be accessed when viewing the activity from the web portal.
Section 4: Start Now or Plan for Later
Once selected various fields will need to completed. This depends on your organisations settings and integrations:
- External GPS & Vehicle: Assign GPS devices and/or vehicles to the activity.
- Risk Assessment - Pre-planning or Pre-start: If a Risk Assessment is assigned to the activity type chosen, a Risk Assessment section becomes available. Users must answer all questions before the activity can be started. If a users risk score is too high, they may be required to request approval from a supervisor or restricted from starting the activity. Once required fields have been completed save your changes by selecting:

- Start Now: Start the activity.
- Request Approval: Sends a approval request.
- Plan For Later: Creates a Planned activity.
