GHS App - Motion Monitoring

Motion monitoring detects a users' devices (mobile phones or V.BTTNs) for movement. If a device doesn't move for the set Warning Time, it will vibrate and make a sound.

During an activity the movement status is shown underneath the 'Reminder' time on your activity screen. The text will change from 'moving' to 'still' to reflect the movement of your device.

Clicking the movement status provides the option to turn motion monitoring on/off during your activity.

If your device starts moving again, the warning is cancelled, vibrations and sounds will stop, and the warning time will reset. However, if the device stays still for the Alert Time, a 'No Movement' alert is triggered.

Moving your device after an alert has been triggered will not cancel it. The alert must be manually cancelled.

To use this feature, it must be enabled in the app's settings.

Auto Enable: When enabled, Motion Monitoring starts automatically when starting an activity, bypassing the Pre-Start screen.

Warning Time: If a user's device stays still for the set Warning Time period during an activity, a push notification is sent, and the device will vibrate and produce a sound.

Alert Time: If a user's device remains motionless for the set Alert Time period, a 'No Movement' alert is triggered.

Once motion monitoring has been enabled in the app settings, a Pre-start screen will appear when you will start your activity. Here you can choose to use motion monitoring for your activity.
