GHS App - Pre-start Screen

When starting an activity, a Pre-Start screen will appear (depending on app and organisation settings). This screen lets users enable specific features and additional tools to use during the activity as well as test notifications.

GPS Devices: 

If GPS devices are available, they can be selected to use during an activity.

 

Vehicles: 

If vehicles are available, they can be selected to use during an activity.

 

Review Notification Settings:

In the Settings Check section, GetHomeSafe will flag any settings on your phone that might interfere with notification delivery. You’ll also see recommendations for:

  • Bluetooth and Car Audio connections
  • Do Not Disturb and Focus Mode settings


You can perform a Test Notification to confirm that your sound settings are configured correctly. For more information check out the following article: Troubleshooting - Sound & Notification

Bluetooth Button: 

If a Bluetooth button is paired with the app, you can choose to connect and use your button during an activity. When enabled an option will be presented to test the button.

Motion Monitoring: 

If Motion Monitoring is enabled in the app settings, you can select whether to use this feature during an activity.
