Follow-Up Process Template

An example of a Follow-Up Process you can use as a guide for creating your own. 

Step 1: Call the user on the listed phone number

  • The phone number can be found in the tile above
  • If you cannot contact the User, move to the next step

Step 2: Wait 2 mins, call user again

  • Attempt to contact the User a second time on their listed (or alternative) contact number.
  • If there is still no response move to the next step

Step 3: Escalate to Supervisors listed below

  • Attempt to contact the Supervisors listed below, in order.
  • If you cannot make contact with any of the listed contacts, move to the next step.

Step 4: Contact Health and Safety Manager

  • H&S Manager - Joe Bloggs
  • Cell phone: 012 345 6789

Step 5: Escalate to Emergency Services

  • Escalate to Emergency Services and provide them with the "Last Reported Location" below.
  • Advise Supervisors and H&S contacts via email/SMS that ES are en route
