Does GHS support my phone version?

Quick information on whether GetHomeSafe currently supports your operating system version. 

Note - We strongly recommend that you upgrade to the current version of your mobile operating system to keep your mobile device secure and to allow you to keep your GetHomeSafe App up-to-date. 

Apple Devices

In line with security updates from Apple, GetHomeSafe supports iOS 17.5 and later.

Android Devices

In line with security updates from Android, GetHomeSafe supports Android 12 and later. 

This article will be updated when we recieve new updates from Apple and Google.

How to Check Your Phone's OS Version

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap General
  3. Tap About
  4. Look for Software Version (e.g., "iOS 18.4")

Android

Steps vary slightly by manufacturer, but generally:

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap About Phone (sometimes under "System" first)
  3. Tap Software Information (if present)
  4. Look for Android Version (e.g., "Android 15")

Manufacturer notes:

  • Samsung: Settings → About phone → Software information → Android version
  • Google Pixel: Settings → About phone → Android version
  • OnePlus/Oppo: Settings → About device → Version → Android version
