What is Beta Testing?

GetHomeSafe’s Beta testing community offers users exclusive early access to innovative features and platform enhancements prior to their public launch. As a valued member of this group, you play a critical role in shaping the evolution of our solutions through your expert insights and feedback.

Participating in the Beta program not only enables you to experience the latest developments first hand, but also empowers you to influence product direction by:

  • Sharing recommendations,
  • Reporting usability improvements,
  • Highlighting areas that may need clarification, and
  • Identifying any technical or operational issues encountered during testing.

How to join our Beta Testing program

Android (Beta Access)

  1. Open the Play Store: Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Locate the app: Search for the GetHomeSafe app.
  3. Go to the app's page: Tap on the GetHomeSafe app to view its details page.
  4. Join the beta program: Scroll down to the "Join the beta" section and tap "Join".
  5. Confirm: You may be asked to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, you'll be enrolled as a public beta tester.
  6. Update the app: After gaining beta access, ensure your app is up to date by updating it on the GetHomeSafe app page.

iOS (TestFlight):

  1. Install TestFlight: Download the TestFlight app from the App Store.
  2. Use our public beta link: Access this link from your iOS device https://testflight.apple.com/join/kNwvdNZa to open the invitation within TestFlight.
  3. Install the beta version: TestFlight will guide you through installing the beta version of the GetHomeSafe app.

Understanding our Beta program and how to opt out

Just a heads-up that the features you're testing in this beta build are still a work in progress. That means they're subject to change and might have some glitches or issues. If you're looking for the most polished and stable experience of our app, we recommend opting out of the beta program and to continue using our live build instead.

If you would like to opt-out of the beta follow the steps below:

Android (Beta Access):

  1. Open the Play Store: Launch the Google Play Store app on your Android device.
  2. Locate the app: Search for the GetHomeSafe app.
  3. Go to the app's page: Tap on the GetHomeSafe app to view its details page.
  4. Leave the beta program: Scroll down to the "You're a beta tester" section and tap "Leave".
  5. Confirm: You may be asked to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, you'll be promptly removed from the beta.
  6. Wait a few minutes: It can take a few minutes to remove you from the beta program, we also recommend to restart the app..

iOS (TestFlight):

  1. Open TestFlight: Open the TestFlight app on your iOS device.
  2. Go to the app's page: Tap on the GetHomeSafe app.
  3. Leave the beta program: Scroll down to the very bottom of the GetHomeSafe app's details page and tap the red "Stop Testing" button.
  4. Confirm: You may be asked to confirm your decision. Once confirmed, you'll be promptly removed from the beta.
  5. Wait a few minutes: It can take a few minutes to remove you from the beta program, we also recommend to restart the app.
