A troubleshooting guide on managing the volume and sounds of your device to ensure notifications are heard
There are multiple reasons why notifications or alerts are not sounding from the GetHomeSafe app.
- Alert Sounds feature: in the GetHomeSafe app’s settings there is an alert sounds feature. If this is enabled notifications and alerts will not sound any noise if activated, even if the mobile devices volume is set to full.
- iOS: make sure the mobile device is unmuted and the volume is set to full.
- Android: make sure that the mobile device is unmuted and the media volume channel is set to full. To access Android volume controls, select the volume button on the mobile device, then select the 3 dots up the top right corner.
