GHS Calendar Integration

GetHomeSafe offers various options for integrating with your calendar to your GetHomeSafe activity.

Please note: Users with an Android device can pick their preferred calendar.  For IOS users, GetHomeSafe will use the IOS calendar app.

Option 1: – Adding Your GHS Activity to Your Calendar.

This feature is enabled by default and works by including a calendar invitation in the email notification you receive when your activity starts. The calendar invite provides a brief overview of your activity details.

Option 2: Populate your GHS activity from your exisiting calendar appointments

To populate your GHS activity using your existing calendar appointments, follow these steps:

1. Open the mobile app and tap the calendar icon located at the top right corner of the screen. You will need to grant permission for the app to access your calendar.

3. Once the information is populated, you can start and track your activity as usual.

Option 3: Schedule activities into GHS direct from Outlook with the Microsoft Entra Calendar Integration

1. Enable the Microsoft Entra integration. Note you must have enterprise administrator access to set up the integration.

- To enable the integration login to your Enterprise account

- Select "Configure" and select "Integrations"

- Select "Add integration" and select "Microsoft Entra Integrations"

- Select "Calendar Sync"

- Instructions will appear on screen on how to complete the integration:

2. In Outlook, create a calendar appointment for the designated user and make sure to add #GHS to the title of the appointment. Entra syncs with GHS and the #GHS triggers the activity to be scheduled for the user within GHS.

- Prior to scheduled start time the user is proactively reminded to start their scheduled GHS activity.
- A missed start alert can be configured to notify team leaders if the user does not start scheduled activity as expected. For more information check out the following article: GetHomeSafe Scheduling

- The built-in reporting feature provides insights into the volume of scheduled activities compared to actual activity tracking, allowing you to identify who is utilising the system as intended.
